Architect Registration

Although still compulsory, architect registration is not regarded as a priority by the inspection services. The temporary architects' exemption that was introduced in 2016 by the then state secretary Tommelein, pending a change in the law, is still in place. As long as the law remains unchanged the architects' exemption applies. A fact recently confirmed by the office representing the current state secretary for the Prevention of Social Fraud, De Backer, and the department of Social Security.
